About SpeakerSignal

A meeting planner needs a speaker on team culture, so they ask ChatGPT for names. The people who book speakers, meeting professionals, association executives, corporate decision makers, and bureau partners, increasingly start there instead of with a search engine. SpeakerSignal reads your website the way those AI tools do and answers three questions: can AI reach your site, can it tell who you are, and does it find what a planner needs to say yes. Then it shows you exactly what to fix, in plain English.

Who built it

SpeakerSignal was built by Simon Anderson, a professional keynote speaker since 2011 and founder of Venture Foresight, LLC and SpeakerKey. The first site it ever scanned was his own, and it caught his hosting provider silently blocking every AI crawler on the internet. If it can happen to a futurist, it is happening to speakers everywhere.

How it works

Enter your website address. SpeakerSignal reads your site twice, once the way AI reads it and once the way a person's browser does, then runs checks in seven areas:

  • Can AI reach your site? (AI crawler access)
  • Can AI read your words? (content renderability)
  • Can AI confirm your facts? (structured data)
  • Can a planner see why to book you? (speaker buyer content)
  • Is it clear who you are? (entity clarity)
  • Can AI read your video and photos? (media accessibility)
  • Do the basics hold up? (technical foundation)

You get a 0 to 100 score, a grade, and a fix list in order of what matters most. Each fix explains what it means and exactly what to change.

No black box

Every check shows its evidence: the exact rule it found, the missing element, the text it judged. If SpeakerSignal says something is wrong, you can see why. No proprietary formulas, no mystery scores.

What it does not measure

SpeakerSignal scores what is on your site. AI weighs other things too: press coverage, podcast appearances, event agendas, directories, and what other people say about you online. A site that AI can read is the foundation, not the whole picture. No score guarantees a booking.
